Telangana Genome valley is an organized cluster for the pharma industry. It serves as a place to set up pharma production industries. This is the only organized cluster belonging to the pharma industry in India having such a large occupancy. History Telangana genome valley?
It all got started in 1999 with the help of Bharat Biotech, Shapoorji Pallonji group, and ICICI bank coordination. Krishna Ella the founder of Bharat biotech started with S.P Biotech Park in a public-private partnership. Telangana Genome valley has spread across 600 acres on the fringes of Turkapally, Shamirpet, Medchal, Uppal, Patancheru, Jeedimetla, Gachibowli, and Keesara.

Alexandria Knowledge Park
Alexandria Knowledge Park is a US-based Real-Estate giant that established its SEZ at Shamirpet in 2009. This park is known as Alexandria Knowledge SEZ. It holds a certification mark from the United States Patent and the European Union.
IKP knowledge park
IKP knowledge park is situated at Turkapally on about 200 acres. It was the proposal from ICICI bank to form and strengthen the pharma industry.
